How is the industrial rescuer course?
The industrial rescuer course addresses the concepts established in the regulatory standard NBR 16710, being a training that aims to train professionals to act in emergency situations in industrial environments, such as oil platforms, chemical industries and other facilities that may pose risks to workers.

Ability to make quick and accurate decisions;

Normative Program Content
Official Regulatory Standards and applicable Brazilian Standards;
Security principles of a rescue operation;
Identification of risks associated with a rescue operation;
Risk x benefit assessment in a rescue operation;
Certification of rescue equipment and systems;
Selection and correct use of the following personal rescue equipment:
Parachute harness, slings or lanyards; Lifelines, Connectors, Helmet, Gloves,
Installation and operation of pre-engineered rescue or evacuation systems;
Selection and correct use of the following collective rescue equipment:
Ropes, Slings, Anchoring Ring, Tapes or Beads, Connectors, Pulleys, Blockers, Stretchers, Tripod;
Assembly of basic tie knots: assembly of basic anchorages using tie knots;
Assembly and operation of simple mechanical advantage systems;
Pre-use inspection of the individual and collective rescue equipment used; identification of operational readiness or damage conditions. defects and wear and tear for refusal of equipment that has been disapproved according to the manufacturers’ instructions;
Cleaning methods. packaging and transport of rescue equipment;
Conceptualization of the shock force generated by arresting a fall from a height;
Fall factor concept;
Knowledge of how inert suspension trauma develops and its main therapeutic measures;
Use of available means of communication. as well as use of terminology used as standard language for emergencies;
Knowledge of the different types of vertical transport stretchers, as well as their compatibility for the type of operation or the victim’s injury;
Techniques for immobilizing victims on stretchers, with or without the use of spine or limb immobilizers;
Victim vertical movement techniques, using pre-engineered or pre-assembled manual or automatic rescue and evacuation systems;
Techniques for vertical movement of victims at heights and in confined spaces, using simple pre-assembled mechanical advantage systems;
Techniques for using respiratory protection equipment applied to rescue.
